Celebrity ship names
The famous blends, listed.
Tabloids invented the celebrity portmanteau; fandoms perfected it. Each entry shows the pair, the blend, and the recipe — including the famous pairs where no blend ever stuck, which is data too.

What the list teaches
- Short first names dominate. Brad, Ben, Kim, Tom — a complete short name plus a piece of the longer one is the most common recipe on the list.
- Nicknames beat full names. TomKat and Robsten both cut from the nickname, not the birth certificate name. If one of you goes by a short form, blend that.
- Some pairs never blend. When both names are long, or the cuts all land on consonant clusters, even global fame can't force a portmanteau. The honest move is a different format — initials, or Name & Name — which the fandom formats page covers.
- Check what your blend also means. The Nick Jonas + Priyanka Chopra entries are the cautionary tale: two blends competed, and one of them is an insult. Say yours out loud and search it before it goes on a cake.
